Ceramic Bathroom from Franco Pecchioli
Inspired by the life aquatic, this contemporary bathroom features a new ceramic tile collection by Italian designer Franco Pecchioli that’s sure to provide you with some great ideas. For your inspiration, we’ve included many images with the amazing tile designs … Drenched in vivid oceanic shades of aquamarine speckled with black and white, the bathroom is bathed in the soothing tones of the deep. Bringing water and earth together, these ceramic bathroom tiles incorporate organic materials like metals and mosaics for a raw yet refined look. The layering of pattern and color – one of the year’s hottest trends – comes to life in this chic space. Square tiles adorn floors and walls, while mosaic motif tiles add further interest to the walls. Surrounding this amazing sink and matching fixtures by Ideal Standard, a continuous aquamarine slab countertop features a glossy, wet finish that resembles the water’s surface. The piece de resistance of this elegant bathroom is the bathtub, finished inside and out with a blend of mixed motifs – ceramic slabs on the exterior, square ceramic tiles lining the interior, and flower-pattern tiles at the very bottom.
Modern DIY Sofa by Eric Dalpiaz
This Modern DIY Sofa is design by Eric Dalpiaz.
Information from designer :
Here is my sofa that I built. Hardwood and MDF frame. Elastic straps for the seating. Foam on all sides of various thickness, different for seat, back, and arms. Knoll upholstery, stain resistant and ‘green’. I did all the work myself except for the upholstery, had to have someone do that for me. Breaks down into 6 pieces as you can see, bolts together to form one piece. Seats 4 comfortably.
Also the table in the pics is actually concrete. My parents had their driveway replaced, I had the contractor saw cut that piece out, I ground the underside in four spots and attached casters to make it ’somewhat’ easier to move.
